When Hitachi Energy decided to move into their newly renovated premises in Landskrona, they set the bar high: the entire office would be furnished with 100% recycled furniture. YLLW took on the challenge and delivered an office where sustainability and design go hand in hand.
Thanks to our large-scale recycling capacity in our own factory, YLLW Factory, we were able to integrate smart recycling and specialist expertise throughout the project and create an inspiring, sustainable and stylish office for Hitachi — proof that circular solutions can deliver both quality and aesthetics. The project's climate savings? Approximately 130 tonnes of CO₂e — equivalent to 20 laps around the world with a diesel car. In this way, we at YLLW and the project show that circular solutions can deliver both quality and aesthetics.

We created harmony between different zones with new textiles and colour schemes and chose different colour themes for the office conference room, with recycled, ergonomic office chairs and refurbished height-and-drop desks, to match the modern office environment.
Already in the entrance hall of the office, visitors are today greeted by red, recycled armchairs that harmonize with Hitachi's graphic profile. In the dining room, used chairs bought from the nearby municipality were renovated, repainted and upholstered in new fabric. Specially designed tables from our joinery were combined with recycled undercarriages and powder coated for a uniform feel.
