Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy
Purpose
At Yllw, we are committed to providing a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment. This policy integrates our systematic approach to occupational health and safety with our practical safety routines, ensuring compliance with legislation while promoting long-term well-being, inclusion, and environmental responsibility.
Scope
This policy applies to all Yllw employees, contractors, visitors, and business partners across the countries where Yllw operates.

- We comply with all applicable HSE laws, regulations, and standards.
- Where national and international requirements differ, we strive to follow the highestlevel of protection.
2. Systematic HSE Management
We apply acontinuous improvement cycle to our HSE work:
1. Investigate – Identify risks, hazards, and opportunities in the workplace.
2. Plan – Establish objectives, preventive measures, and resources.
3. Implement – Take action through training, safe practices, and controls.
4. Follow-up – Evaluate results, investigate incidents, and take corrective actions.
3. Roles and Responsibilities
- Management provides resources, training, and preventive measures, ensures compliance, and follows up on performance.
- Employees are responsible for complying with safety rules, using protective equipment, reporting risks, and contributing to a safe workplace.
- Contractors and partners must comply with Yllws’s HSE standards and ensure the same within their operations.
4. Risk assessments and preventive measures
- Regular workplace inspections and risk assessments are performed to prevent accidents, injuries and ill health.
- Mandatory use of protective equipment and adherence to established safety routines.
- Annual occupational health evaluations are conducted to monitor and improve workplace safetyand well-being.
5. Training and awareness
- Employees receive regular training in ergonomics, fire safety, evacuation procedures, and environmental practices.
- Training programs are continuously updated to reflect new risks, best practices, and legal requirements.
- Managers ensure that new employees receive onboarding that includes HSE training.
6. Incident reporting and follow-up
- All accidents, near-misses, and environmental incidents must be reported.
- Each case is investigated, documented, and followed up with corrective measures.
- Lessons learned are communicated to prevent recurrence.
7. Well-being, Diversity and Inclusion
- We promote equal treatment, diversity, and a culture of openness and respect.

Implementation and follow-up
- HSE is an integrated part of business planning, project execution, and supplier evaluation.
- Progress is measured through internal audits, incident reporting, employee feedback, and customer requirements.
- Action plans are developed, implemented and followed up at least annually.
